About Prison Fellowship India
Prison Fellowship India (PFI) is a registered charitable society involving in correction, welfare and rehabilitation of prisoners, ex-prisoners, crime victims and children victimized by crime and crisis.
PFI, an Interdenominational organization is a Chartered Member of Prison Fellowship International which has consultative status with United Nations organization.
PFI is managed by a Board of Directors from various walks of life. The present Chairman is Dr. Kunjumon Chacko, Vice-Chairman Mr.Binny Chacko and the Executive Director is Dr. Sabu T.Thomas (for CPP Projects). Dr. Babu K Varghese is the President and Mr. Reny George is the vice president of Prison Fellowship India.
Our Registered Office is in Kottayam, Kerala and 90% of the in-prison ministries are done by our trained volunteers are serving in most of the prisons in India.
PFI meets all their financial needs by donations and sponsorship from concerned people. We Maintain 100% transparency and the accounts are audited and submitted to all concerned departments and offices. Our account books are open to all donors. All our activities are with co-operation and under supervision of the criminal justice system.
